Workshed's Commitment to the Local Artist Community

Workshed believes in supporting local artists, with a focus on digital artists, animators and musicians. We feature monthly exhibitions by local artists in our lobby, as well as special shows during the Downtown Camas First Friday Art Walks.

Artists or musicians interested in being featured should submit works of digital art, animation, demo recordings and fine arts that push the limits of their mediums to for consideration. Preference is given to artists from the Camas/Washougal area, but we will also consider submissions from the greater Clark County and Portland Metro areas.

Non-Profit Giving

Workshed believes strongly in giving back to the community. As part of this important part of our mission, we take on two pro-bono non-profit clients each year.

For 2007, one of the non-profit clients is the Camas Educational Foundation, for which we are doing a complete branding package, collateral design, web site, informational video and advertising. The CEF is a grassroots organization which helps to fund educational programs that otherwise would not see the light of day.

The other non-profit for 2007 is The Pixie Project, a pet adoption center and retail pet-supply store in Portland. We'll be doing a new web site for The Pixie Project that will allow them to help find new homes for their pets and sell their retail products online, as well as providing a way for people to make donations and get involved.

If you or someone you know has an interesting non-profit organization in need of branding, a web site and other design or advertising needs for 2008, please .
